L’chayim Delicatessen
A bagel with lox and cream cheese? Here? Yo! A New York inspired deli in Northern Michigan, L’chayim will make you crave the Mt. of Olives veggie sandwich or a Lebanon ham with mango sandwich. We think half of the fun of this deli is ordering! And if you can’t get enough, you can order certain items by the pound for later.
The Roadhouse Mexican Bar and Grill
The Roadhouse Mexican Bar & Grill is home for traditional Mexican cuisine in Benzie County. Open year-round for dinner with service beginning at 4 p.m. Enjoy seasonal outdoor dining in the backyard cantina. The Roadhouse salsa and chips are made fresh every day. The Raven offers something for everyone. From house-brewed craft beer, to central Texas-style slow-smoked BBQ, there is something on the menu sure to please. The Raven sources many of their ingredients from local farmers, from food offerings to the ingredients for specialty seasonal beers.
3 Girls Bakery
Exquisite cakes and cupcakes in so many different flavors! We’re floored. And just when you think that’s impressive, they offer freshly-made pretzels and a deli menu. The deli menu offers breakfast all day, soup, sandwiches, wraps and paninis. Check them out on Michigan Avenue!
The Raven Social
Should farm to table look so appealing? Mushroom ravioli, champagne chicken and firecracker devilled eggs all caught our eye. By the way, where else can you get Poutine around here? If you are gluten intolerant, they have options for you too. Stop in and savor some really beautiful dishes.
Iron Fish Distillery
Plan this. It is an event. Take a tour of the distillery, learn how they craft what you are about to imbibe, then round off the experience with a thoughtfully created pizza. Maybe the blue Fern Pizza with bleu cheese, apples, honey, parmesan and kale? Yes, please. Listen to some live music (check the schedule), wander home, Dunegrass and ponder the day’s experience.
Clam Lake Beer Company
Named for the original name of Cadillac, Clam Lake Beer Company has just the beer you were hoping for. But bring your friends who aren’t beer lovers and they’ll be happy too, with a great wine list to artfully mixed cocktails, everyone will be satisfied. While enjoying your drink, peruse the truly inspired dinner options. Patrons are calling this the best of the best. Just a few steps from Dunegrass Clam Lake, oops, we mean Cadillac.

A local grill for down-home re-fueling on your adventures. Whatever you are craving, chances are they have it on the menu. And pick up an M-22 glass or mug while you’re there.
TJ’s Pub
On the ground level of the restored 10 – room Ramsdell Inn, built in 1891, TJ’s Pub sits right on the corner of River and Maple Street. A very comfortable pub in an historic site offering an elevated selection of pub food, beer, wine and cocktails.

Aren’t the best places little hole-in-the-walls? Family-owned (and loved) Thai eatery known for its generous portions of delicious Thai food for a very reasonable price. Cash-only, so make sure you stop at an ATM on the way!
Lagniappe Cajun Creole Eatery
For something very different and very, very worthwhile, Lagniappe Cajun Creole Eatery will have you wondering what you are getting yourself into at first, but you will never regret it. While you are deciding what to have for dinner, if it sounds good, order it, you will like it. Find something that doesn’t sound good? Order it, you will like it. From a fried garlic cheddar grit cake appetizer to the Cajun Crawfish Cavatappi Pasta, you’ll swear you are deep in Louisiana. In fact, you’ll probably end up leaving with an Naw’lins accent.
Courtyards and Second Line T-Boys and Tapas
Located right across Champion Street from Dunegrass Marquette, Courtyards offers cajun and creole inspired street food in a beautiful, casual bar setting. Their chicken fingers are a Dunegrass staff favorite and their friendly staff is always happy to delight!
The Iron Pig Smokehouse
Get ready to get saucy! Breakfast, brunch and dinner, you and Dunegrass could eat here all day long. Breakfast burritos, BBQ, pizza and tacos, and even a menu for the little ones. What more could you ask for?
Bennethum’s Northern Inn
A bit more formal form of a higher latitude with fancier fare. On Old Hwy 27 South, have a seat and enjoy appetizers all the way through desserts. How does a slice of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake sound after dinner? Only Dunegrass could make this more special!

German Food you say? Count us in! Right on Main Street in Downtown Gaylord, the interior is as charming as the exterior. Make yourself comfy and try out some different dishes. If it’s a local favorite, you know it’s good! Don’t forget to order a pretzel to go for your later date with Dunegrass and the munchies!
